Description
This is an artichoke flower of as Jeff so fondly calls it 'Something out of Star Trek...'. This was taken after my university graduation and just before I moved here. My mom bought an artichoke and planted it. This giant plant sprouted and this is a picture of one of the flowers close up. This is possibly one of my FAVORITE pictures I've ever taken.

Really quite nice with some nice contrast, my only suggestion would be to watch yer focus, I think its a lil soft and could be perhaps more sharp
